New York University-Shanghai invites applications for a full-time Clinical Professor (Open Rank) of Teaching and Learning in Multilingual Multicultural Studies / TESOL who will also serve as the Director of the MA in TESOL Program at NYU Shanghai. The successful candidate will teach graduate-level courses and supervise final student research projects. He / she will also spearhead the academic administration and operation of the MA in TESOL program, a 30-credit, 2-year degree jointly offered with the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
This is a Full-Time Continuing Contract Faculty (FTCC) position. Typical initial appointments are on 12-month terms of 3 years with the possibility of long-term renewal. Rank, either Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or full Clinical Professor, will be commensurate with experience. The position is 100% in person in Shanghai. If relocation is necessary, NYU Shanghai can provide an allowance toward covering such related costs.
