AIEA is currently accepting applications for interns to assist at their annual conference, taking place March 2-5 in Houston, Texas. They are seeking multiple interns, including a conference communications intern. AIEA conference interns will gain practical experience in organizing and managing a large-scale conference, overseeing student volunteers, handling session and speaker logistics, and supporting educational leaders and the AIEA secretariat staff. Responsibilities include pre-conference preparation through mandatory planning meetings, active involvement at registration desks, directing attendees, and assisting with logistical tasks.

​The conference communications intern will play a crucial role in recruiting and coordinating volunteers, maintaining regular communication with volunteers and other interns, and creating content to share with members during the conference.

Although interns are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses, some meals during the conference will be provided, as well as a modest stipend.

The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) seeks a mission-aligned and visionary leader to join the organization as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). AIEA, a membership organization formed in November 1982, is the only association dedicated exclusively to senior leaders in the field of international education, equipping them to shape the future of higher education in a global context. With more than 600 members from around the world, AIEA brings international education leaders into dialogue with each other, their counterparts around the world, organizations that promote international education, and groups concerned with the shaping and management of international higher education. Reporting directly to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, the CEO is the key leader responsible for overseeing the operations of the Association which includes the administration, staff, programming, strategic vision and plan implementation while representing the Association in external relations.

Before their annual conference (the deadline for submission is unfortunately long past), the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) is holding a series of workshops, some of which are virtual and open to non-members, though at a cost.
