The Denison University Department of Communication invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning August 15, 2023. A Ph.D. in Communication is preferred by that date. The department values outstanding teaching and research as well as diversity and the liberal arts. Teaching and research interests for this position should address issues of intra/inter and/or cross-cultural communication with emphases on individual, group, social and institutional relationships, identity and alterity. Candidates who employ global perspectives in teaching and scholarship are especially encouraged to apply.
