Intercultural communication is a historic department strength, with the department ranked in the top ten nationally in the most recent reputation survey of doctoral granting communication departments. The program seeks an outstanding assistant professor with interests in intercultural or interethnic communication with an emphasis on racially or ethnically diverse groups in the U.S. and a preference for candidates focused on indigenous peoples.
