This position will work with the Fulbright Program Management department. The Fulbright Program is the flagship international academic exchange program sponsored by the United States Government. The Senior Program Officer, Fulbright Student Programs is responsible for program deliverables for specified countries or programs within the Western Hemisphere region, in addition to playing a leadership role in managing budgets for the region as well as overseeing contracts and awards made directly with U.S. embassies, Fulbright Commissions, institutions and other organizations. This individual will support the implementation of the contractual services for the Fulbright Program, including country-specific budgets and program policies, working closely with their counterparts at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Fulbright Commissions and U.S. Embassies overseas, and internal teams within the larger Fulbright team at IIE to enable programmatic success.
