The Department of International Relations at Bilkent University invites applications for multiple tenure-track assistant professor positions, to begin in September 2025. The department welcomes applications from scholars working in any area within the field of international relations, broadly defined. Candidates who have a regional expertise and whose specialization would complement the existing strengths of the department are particularly encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to produce publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, and to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate programs in the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University. The normal teaching load is 2+2, after an initial teaching load reduction.
