Reporting to the University Director of Global Education, the Assistant Director for Global Initiatives works with various FDU constituencies, including faculty and staff, as well as external partners, including foreign higher education institutions, international high schools, and education service providers, to develop and deliver high quality and income-generating programs.
The Assistant Director for Global Initiatives has broad planning and operational responsibility for global partnership programs, including exchange programs, transfer programs, school of record programs, and short-term programs (both international and domestic) for partners.
The Assistant Director for Global Initiatives is responsible for developing operational budgets, marketing strategies, and assessment/evaluation methods for each program, sound fiscal management of income and expenditures for them, as well as for coordinating protocol, room reservations, transportation, facilities, media services, public safety, publicity, food services, and housing for each event as required.
