Call for articles on multimodality by the international online peer reviewed journal, Language Value, which seeks to become a scholarly arena for the exploration of the attitudes and values conveyed by users of the English language in different contexts and situations. Scholars, teachers and researchers interested in this topic are welcome to submit their proposals on the following theme: MULTIMODAL MEANS OF INSTRUCTION: BROADENING ACADEMIC LITERACIES AND PRACTICES.

The suggested length of articles is 5,000 to 8,000 words, books and multimedia reviews from 1500 to 2000. Articles should be accompanied by a 100-150 word abstract and six keywords. Manuscripts should be original, not published or being considered for publication elsewhere, and written in English. This is a strict requirement for publication, and authors are responsible for ensuring that this is the case when submitting their manuscript for review. Authors will be notified about the decision on their submission in no longer than three months.
It is essential that submissions are sufficiently clear and well-structured to be read comfortably by referees, and that any bibliographical references are easy to trace.
The editors will decide whether a submission should be subject to full external peer review. Decisions about publication will be made by the editors following peer review. Authors are responsible for anonymising their manuscript before submitting it. This issue will also publish book, website and multimedia reviews relevant to its contents.
