The research group Multilingualism on My Mind (MoMM) at the University of Bergen is organizing its third virtual and free conference on multilingualism in education and society on 18-19 March 2027. Contributions from all across the globe and from a variety of perspectives are welcome!
The conference invites proposals from researchers and teachers that cover original research and best practices on multilingualism. Organizers welcome proposals related but not restricted to the following themes:
Language learning and multilingualism
Multilingualism and language policy
Teacher education and multilingualism
Pedagogical approaches to multilingualism
Multilingualism and the psychology of language learning and teaching
Multilingualism and social justice
Multilingualism and age
Multilingualism and AI
Multilingualism in higher education
Innovative methods for researching multilingualism
A special issue of the Nordic Journal of Language Teaching and Learning will be dedicated to selected papers from MoMM2027.
