FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, School of Communication and Multimedia Studies, is seeking an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and two full-time Instructors in Communication and Civic Discourse. The School’s undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Studies emphasize contemporary cultural concerns while situating these within the broader historical context of communication and cultural theory. Candidates will be able to teach courses in rhetoric, communication, and cultural discourse with an investment in both local and global issues and communities. Areas of expertise might include communication and citizenship, public address and deliberation, identity and ethnicity, and media, technology, and the public sphere.
