Call for Papers for the 11th issue of Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis. Deadline: 30 September 2023 for abstract; 15 December 2023 for full paper. 

The Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis is now accepting submissions for the Eleventh Issue (Vol. 6, No. 1) and welcomes R&R content, book reviews, and articles related to peace and human flourishing. Articles and reflective pieces that clearly embrace transdisciplinary methodology and embrace under-addressed concepts and neglected world regions will be privileged by the editorial team.

Call for Papers for the 9th issue of Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis. Deadline: 15 August 2022. (Deadline later extended to 25 August 2022)

The next issue of the Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis (JTPP) will focus on the broad theme of social identity.
They encourage co-authored works that stretch common assumptions about what constitutes the traditional academic disciplines, looking forward to broad participation from scholars, activists, and peacemaking professionals grappling with the immense complexities of social identity in conflict.

Those interested in submitting to the journal are encouraged to frame their contributions in ways that shed light on the challenges and complex dynamics of proactively engaging actors’ social identity in social conflict. They are especially interested in academic manuscripts, books reviews, and/or shorter creative expressions which address the following sub-topics and themes:

• The interplay between multiple social identities in change movements (e.g., women’s/LGBTQIA rights, anti-racism, and/or religious-based movements for social justice);
• Separating and teasing out elements of culture in expressions of social identity;
• Exploring the clashing values of competing social identities;
• Differentiating the impacts of victim identity narratives from more positive identity constructions.

Call for Papers for the 8th issue of Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis. Deadline: 15 March 2022.

The Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis (JTPP) is concentrating the eighth issue on the broad theme of modelling and encouraging the values of peace and restoration in a fractured/polarised world order. A critical set of skills for those either working in the field of conflict resolution or aspiring to be peacemakers, modelling peaceful nonviolent values are in short supply in our postmodern and post-truth reality. They encourage all those working in the expansive and growing field of Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies to submit their conference presentation papers, praxis and book review ideas, and full-length manuscripts for publication, especially those addressing:

• The interplay between restorative and peacemaking values;
• Non-traditional, or lesser known, exemplars of peacemaking and peacebuilding;
• The challenges of embracing inclusive excellence in peacework;
• The difficulties of justifying peacework in our capitalist and neoliberal world system.

Journal of Transdisciplinary Peace Praxis (JTPP) is a new peer-reviewed, biannual, scholarly journal, both in print and on-line versions, bringing together peace practitioners with academics to explore radical responses to social conflict, war and injustice. The first issue will be published in January 2019. Submissions are invited for the second issue, on the human cost of social conflict.
