The primary mission of the Center for Intercultural Dialogue is to connect Communication scholars working in different countries. One way to do this is to help scholars in one country locate short-term teaching opportunities (traditionally often during the summer) in other countries. Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Hong Kong seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position teaching speech and public speaking as part of the general education core of the various programs offered at the university for Fall 2012. Qualified candidates should have the terminal degree or its equivalent in rhetoric, communications or a related field. Candidates should demonstrate teaching excellence and exemplary communication skills. They also must have five or more years of college-level teaching experience in speech, communication, and/or other specialized coursework, as well as experience engaging with a diverse student body.
