Seeking Project Consultant for initiative on U.S.-India ties
The Carter Center is guided by the principles of the Founders, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter. Founded on a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering, the Center seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health. The Carter Center hosts the India Policy Initiative. The aim of the initiative is to educate US policymakers on issues related to Indian democracy—and how they may impact the US-India partnership—through policy papers, briefings, and programming. The India Policy Initiative is seeking a project consultant. The project consultant will assist in the overall project management, communications, and programming for policy stakeholders. The project consultant will report to the initiative lead and the Director of the Human Rights Program at The Carter Center. This position is on a full-time consultancy basis for a duration of 12months with the possibility of renewal.
